On July 4, the International Cooperation Forum on Digital Talent at the 2025 Global Digital Economy Conference was held in Beijing. The forum, themed Intelligent Connectivity Globally, Cultivating the Future Together—Building a New Ecosystem for Digital Talent Development, was attended by Vice President Chen Xiaoqin. She jointly launched the Signing Ceremony for the Third Batch of Industry-Education Integration Practice Centers with leaders from the Chinese Vocational and Technical Education Society and representatives from Huawei. Our college participated as one of the 22 selected institutions.
It is reported that nine production-education integration practice centers have been completed in China, with mor than 20 others under construction. Huawei provides technical support, digital intelligence platform services, corporate engineer expertise, and ecosystem partner resources for these centers. This year, the Chinese Vocational and Technical Education Society will collaborate with domestic institutions involved in the construction of production-education integration practice centers, as well as partner institutions from countries along the Belt and Road, to jointly establish international production-education integration practice centers, achieving resource co-construction and capability sharing.
This forum gathered nearly 300 experts and scholars from renowned universities, vocational institutions, and research organizations both domestically and internationally, as well as industry organizations and corporate representatives in the digital economy sector. The heads of our college's Cooperation Office and the School of Information Technology attended the forum.
