President Wen Huabing and His Delegation Conduct Research at Nanjing MSA

On June 26th, President Wen Huabing, Vice President Zheng Jun and their delegation went to Nanjing Maritime Safety Administration (MSA) for a special research. Focusing on the cutting-edge development of smart maritime affairs, the empowerment of maritime science and technology innovation, and the training of maritime talents in the new era, the two parties aimed to jointly explore new development prospects. Director Lin Xiang of Nanjing MSA and other relevant leaders warmly received the research team.

At the Traffic Command Center of Nanjing MSA, the staff comprehensively demonstrated the fruitful achievements and innovative practices in smart maritime construction. They also conducted on-site demonstrations of how technologies such as big data and artificial intelligence are reshaping maritime supervision and service models, providing the research team with cutting-edge perspectives and vivid cases of smart maritime development.

At the seminar, Wen Huabing emphasized our active exploration in tackling key technologies of smart maritime affairs and making breakthroughs in maritime science and technology innovation in recent years. He shared thoughts and practices in optimizing professional structure, reconstructing curriculum systems, and reforming talent training models in response to the industrys digital transformation trend. Focusing on green and intelligent shipping, Zheng Jun exchanged views on effectively serving the construction of Nanjing regional shipping and logistics center in terms of precise enrollment positioning, employment market expansion, and reform of talent training supply. Both parties conducted in-depth discussions on topics such as deepening smart maritime construction, AI-driven professional upgrading, and collaboration in maritime science and technology innovation, exploring the alignment points for university-government cooperation.

Leaders of relevant units, including the Department of Science and Technology, the Department of Smart Campus Construction, the Party and Government Office, and the School of Information, participated in the research activity.
