NANJING, China – From April 11th to 13th, Jiangsu Maritime Institute successfully hosted and triumphed in the English Speaking Contest of the 2025 Jiangsu Vocational Colleges Skills Competition. The team comprising Zhu Yuanyuan, Xie Yifan, and Ji Jiaqi, coached by Zhou Jianying and Gao Meijuan, secured the first-place award.
The competition saw intense participation from 82 teams totaling 246 students across the province, with over two hundred teachers observing via live stream. Throughout the contest, Jiangsu Maritime Institute's representatives demonstrated exceptional collaboration, unwavering enthusiasm, rigorous competitive spirit, solid English proficiency, and comprehensive professional competence, ultimately outperforming all other teams to claim the championship.
This outstanding achievement highlights the continuous effectiveness of the institute's project-based English teaching reforms.
