On June 10, the China Adult Education Association issued the notice on List of the First Batch of Experimental Schools in the National Project of Vocational Colleges’ Serving the Lifelong Learning and held a promotion meeting. Our college was listed and selected into the first batch of experimental schools.
In recent years, the school has been focusing on the government policies, the industry development, the teaching methods, and how to serve the local, the enterprise and the students. The college has continuously provided the social service and improved its quality and efficiency. Our college has set the general goal of becoming the first place in navigation major among the colleges in building 'Double High” College and the goal of becoming the top five of higher vocational colleges in continuing education in Jiangsu Province. It has also aimed to fulfill the mission of making lifelong learning more convenient for the people, and making alumni more successful. The training programs launched by our college have been widely praised and highly recognized by the employers and the adult students from the society.
As one of the first batch of experimental schools, our college was fully recognized by the society in the construction of the continuing education system and it laid a solid foundation for our college’s application for the National Model Base for Continuing Education. Our college would further build a Trinity system for lifelong education, improve the four-way linkage mechanism system of school-running, improve the social service, and contribute to the construction of the national lifelong education system and a learning society.
