On May 24, Principal Wan Jian and Vice Principal Miao Keyin led a team including relevant heads of Enterprise Cooperation Office, Science and Technology Industry Office and other departments to visit Jiangning Science and Technology Bureau. The visit was warmly welcomed by Zhu Chunming, Director of Jiangning Science and Technology Bureau and Wang Wenjuan, Deputy Director of the bureau. The two sides have conducted in-depth exchanges on cooperation between the school and local government and between the school and enterprises.
At the meeting, Zhu Chunming warmly welcomed the visit of the school and made a detailed introduction on the current situation of science and technology resources in Jiangning District, incentive mechanism, relevant policies, and typical cases of school-enterprise cooperation, etc.
Wan Jian introduced in details the college’s achievements and its development in recent years, focusing on the strategic planning and major construction projects related to maritime intelligent engineering, and ship manufacturing industries. He hoped that both the college and the local government would seize the opportunity, strengthen the integration of resources in the field of science and technology, and serve the high-quality development of local economy through more in-depth and pragmatic cooperation.
Miao Keyin introduced the scientific research achievements made by our college in the past five years, the measures to serve the local economic development and how to carry out in-depth cooperation of industry, school, and institute during the 14th Five-Year Plan period. He expressed gratitude for the strong support of Jiangning Science and Technology Bureau in the process.
At the meeting, both sides conducted full negotiations on the introduction of the doctoral team into the enterprise and the declaration and construction of the scientific research platform. The two sides reached an agreement on the specific work of how the college and the local government would carry out the cooperation.
