On the afternoon of May 20, Secretary of the Party Committee Liu Hongming and Vice President Tian Naiqing of our college visited Jiangsu Odin Electronic Technology Co., Ltd..Persons in charge of the Academic Affairs Office and the School of Information Engineering participated in the visit. The visit aimed to implement the plans and arrangements of the CPC Central Committee and the State Council on the Employment of College Graduates and the requirements of the Ministry of Education and Department of Education of Jiangsu Province on the Action of College Secretaries and Presidents to Visit Enterprises and Expand Post Selection for Employment of Graduates.
Zhou Xuesong, President of Jiangsu Odin Electronic Technology Co., Ltd., introduced the company's development history, strategies and talent needs. He stated that the students of Jiangsu Maritime Institute were diligent and hardworking, and always maintained their enthusiasm for work. He hoped to deepen the school-enterprise cooperation and exchanges in the employment of college graduates.
Liu Hongming expressed gratitudes to Zhou Xuesong and other company leaders for their warm reception. Liu Hongming introduced the college’s development process, major construction, and talent training. He was very delighted to learn that the graduates of our college were highly recognized by the company. Our college hoped that through the implementation of the special activity of Visiting Enterprises and Expanding Posts Selection , the school could understand the needs of enterprise talents, build the cooperation with the enterprises, improve the talent training, take the needs of enterprises into account of the talent training program, and increase the number of jobs provided to the graduates.
At the meeting, the two sides conducted in-depth and detailed exchanges on talent training, integration of industry and education, graduates’ employment, their internship and so on. Subsequently, the leaders of both sides signed a special agreement on Visiting enterprises and Expanding Posts Selection, held an opening ceremony for off-campus internship base, and took a group photo of representatives of both the school and the company.
